2022 Hispanic Heritage Month

Throughout September 15 - October 15, Saint Ignatius High School will host events to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
September 15, 2022 kicks off the official start of Hispanic Heritage Month. Since 1968, September 15 - October 15 has been the designated time frame used to draw special attention to the contributions Hispanic Americans have made to American society and culture.

Join us in celebrating Hispanic culture and the individuals who have made history in large and small ways. ​Take a look at our schedule of activities below.

Street Food: Latin America
This documentary shares how Latin American chefs bring a taste of tradition and innovation to thier delicious meals. Join us in the Breen Center Thomas Room!

Multicultural Student Union Kahoot
Are you a Latin American culture expert? Join MSU in Rade Dining Hall for a fun game of Kahoot. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 contestants.

Barrio Food Truck
A creative take on traditional Mexican flare with American influences. Join us in St. Mary of the Assumption Chapel parking lot!

Flamenco Dance Class
Do you love to dance? Join us for a fun Flamenco dance class with professional dance provided by Abrepaso Flamenco Dance Studio. Join us in the Breen Center lobby!
