Great Lakes Chinese Consortium Speech and Talent Competition

Six Saint Ignatius students were recently recognized for their outstanding submissions to the Great Lakes Chinese Consortium Speech and Talent Competition.

Saint Ignatius students recently participated in the Great Lakes Chinese Consortium Speech and Talent Competition, a contest in which students from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and Wisconsin come together to celebrate Chinese language and culture.

Over 100 contestants from the Great Lakes region submitted creative videos from core values of Chinese culture, including speech, singing, painting, music, Kung Fu and dance categories. A jury committee of seven judges evaluated submitted materials in the categories of pronunciation, creativity, content, presentation and talent.
